Big number of matches played on Day-2 of 34th Jammu District Badminton C’ship

JAMMU, Nov 28: Jammu District Badminton Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association held a big number of matches in different categories on day-2 of the 34th Jammu District Badminton Championship at two venues of Police Lines Badminton Hall and Indoor Complex, MA Stadium here.
In Under-15 boys singles, Snyam Rangi defeated Parth Sharma (21-8, 21-7), Ritik Singh lost to Dhairya Dogra (18-21, 10-21), Sant Singh beat Rahil Mushtaq (21-18, 21-13), Shivam Gupta lost to Yashasvi Dubey (8-21, 9-21), Vansh Mahajan lost to Ayush Thakur (18-21, 21-12, 8-21), Bhavdeep Singh lost to Sarthak Jain (17-21, 9-21), Hardik Pandit lost to Ashtik Dutta (12-21, 8-21) and Ojas Suri drubbed Kamaldeep Singh, while in Under-15 girls singles, Unnati Jaral defeated Sundhi Gupta (21-6, 21-9), Prabneet Kour lost to Shrijus Sharma (12-21, 9-21), Shambhavi Rajput trounced Archita Kotwal and Aena Gupta lost to Krishika Mahajan (6-21, 8-21).
In Under-15 boys doubles, Ashtik and Shivam defeated Parth and Rishav (21-13, 21-19), Ojas and Yashasvi beat Sparsh and Sharvan (21-8, 21-5), Dhairya and Abhishek got the better of Ashtik and Shivom, Sant and Bhavdeep outplayed Ketan and Dhruv (21-3, 21-5) and Sarthak and Ayush lost to Vansh and Snyam Rangi (20-22, 21-13, 21-11), while in Under-15 girls doubles, Krishika and Sambhavi beat Harmandeep and Nandita (21-11, 21-13) and Divya and Eshita outclassed Shrijus and Shani.
InUnder-17 boys singles, Aesh Goswami beat Yashasvi (21-6, 21-5), Sarthak Jain lost to Ojas Suri (14-21, 17-21), Dheeraj Sharma beat Arush Jain (21-15, 21-15) and Rakshit Mehta lost to Sehdev Singh (8-21, 9-21), while in Under-17 girls singles, Shrijus Sharma lost to Krishika Mahajan (17-21, 15-21).
In Under-19 boys singles, Aesh Goswami trounced Sarvesh Kumar (21-4, 21-4), Ridham Verma lost to Yashdeep Singh (7-21, 15-21) and Rabdeep Singh lost to Nakul Vaid (18-21, 15-21), while in Under-19 girls singles, Rakhi beat Svastika (21-18, 21-16) and Shruti lost to Mannu Bloria (16-21, 16-21).
In Under-19 boys doubles, Vansh and Snyam defeated Aditya and Sarvesh (21-18,21-17), while in Under-19 girls doubles, Shruti and Simrathi lost to Shrijus and Mannu (10-21, 7-21), and in Under-19 girls mixed doubles, Nakul and Unnati beat Sparsh and Svastika (21-6, 21-14) and Shravan and Prabneet lost to Prabhjot and Mannu (8-21, 13-21).
In Under-10 boys singles, Gopesh Singh beat Ayan (21-4, 21-2), Swayan Sharma defeated Kartik Gupta (21-12, 21-8), Shivansh Pangotra got the better of Mandar Mehta (21-6, 21-8) and Haridaan Magotra lost to Harsh Sharma (2-21, 3-21), while in Under-10 girls singles, Suhani Sharma defeated Daimond Singh (21-1, 21-3).
In under-13 boys singles, Bhavdeep Singh beat Neeraj Sharma (21-9, 21-6), Mayank Gupta defeated Sagar Kashyap (21-8, 21-11), Nabeel Ahmad lost to Harsh Sharma (16-21, 7-21), Gopesh Singh beat Spandan (21-8, 21-3), Bhanu Pratap Singh lost to Shivansh Pangotra (13-21, 12-21), Krishan Bali lost to Tikshan Gupta (12-21, 16-21) and Akash lost to Aneesh Thakur (18-21, 16-21), while in under-13 girls singles, Shambhavi Rajput beat Agrima Kashyap (21-4, 21-5), Namrata Pal lost to Suhani Sharma (2-21, 2-21), Suhani Saini defeated Nandani (21-18, 23-21) and Shreya lost to Shrijus Sharma (5-21, 11-21).
In Under-13 boys doubles, Krishna and Bhanu Mayank and Shivansh (18-21, 21-12, 15-21), Snyam and Mandar lost to Gopesh and Bhavdeep (7-21, 3-21), while in Under-13 girls doubles, Shambhavi and Suhani defeated Agrima and Arya (21-6, 21-3).
