RAJOURI, Aug 14: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) organised Volleyball match between teaching faculty and non teaching staff in the University Campus, here today.
The match was organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports which was won by team of teaching faculty by 2-0 sets.
Prof Akbar Masood Vice Chancellor of the University was a chief guest on this occasion. In his address, Prof Akbar emphasised on the importance of games and sports for the holistic growth and development of the youth. “The University is committed to provide all the necessary facilities and equipment to the students for maintaining physical fitness and good health,” Prof Akbar said.
Prof GM Malik, Dean of Students; Prof Asif Hussain Dean of School of Engineering and Technology, Mohammed Rashid Chowdhary OSD Sports, Mohammed Din Deputy Director Sports, faculty members, scholars and other staff members were present during the event.
