JAMMU, Feb 22: J&K Sports Power Lifting Association organized State (M&W) Bench-Press and Powerlifting trials and selected State Bench-Press and Powerlifting Men and Women team for their participation in the North-India (M&W) Bench-Press and Power lifting Championship-2015 to be held at Shimla from March 22 to 25,2015.
The team was selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, general secretary along with officials Narinder Singh, secretary; Vinay Sharma, media secretary; Preet Dutta, joint secretary and Gurumukh Singh, joint secretary.
In women’s team, the selected players included Renu Sharma, Nidhi Sharma, Suman Devi, Arti, Noori Devi, Sunita, Ruhi, Monika and Preeti, while in men’s category, the selected players are Deepak, Aditya Pandoh, Vishal Kohli, Sourav, Deshant Khajuria, Firoz Khan, Akansh Dadwal, Pankaj Verma, Rohit Singh Jamwal, Rajiv, Faisal Paul, Vijay Choudhary, Manjeet Singh and Dhanuj
Rajan Jain will accompany the team along with other officials.
