JAMMU, Dec 22: A Belt Grading Test and 2-days Seminar was held on at Wazir Janki Nath High School, Rani Bagh, here today.
The event was organized by Renmei Goju Ryu Karate- Do Federation of India, Goju Ryu Karate Do International RGKFI, J&K, under the supervision of Shihan Sanjeev Dewan, Chief Instructor (India), RGKFI, 6th Degree Black Belt 4th Dan, All India Karate Do Federation and Sensei Rajinder Kumar, 2nd Dan Black Belt RFGKFI.
In the Grading Test, basic Karate Training Dachiwaza, Zaku Waza, Kiri Waza, Uke Waza and Kye Grade Kata Training of the aspirants was conducted. Kumite Renzuku Training was also conducted.
The karatekas who were declared successful included Ahmed Bhatti, Brown Belt (San Kyu ); Rudar Dewan, Green Belt (5th Kyu) and Royalmeet Kour, Rishita Sharma, Yuvraj Sharma, Sanchit Sagar and Rahat Gupta, White 2nd Strip (8th Kyu).
One Strip (9th Kyu) included Gajalpreet Kour, Muskan Sharma, Arshdeep Kour, Jasmeet Kour, Dilpreet Kour, Chahat Devi, Kanan Gupta, Vidushi Devi, Shriya Gupta, Manyata Sharma,Aradhika Dutta, Chamanpreet Kour, Arshdeep Kour, Harleen Kour, Dhruv Choudhary, Tanveer Singh, Mehak Sharma and Vanshika Sharma (all of Wazir Janki Nath School).
From Ranjeet Memorial School, the Karatekas who excelled included Jatin Sharma, Himanini Sharma, Ansh Sharma, Yatharth Sethi, Anirudh Salathia, Udheyveer Singh, Praneeti Sharma, Akshita Thakur, Ansh Gupta and Manik Sharma.
