JAMMU, July 2: Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA) defeated ASR Kings in an easy contest by 9 wickets to advance in the District Jammu Cricket Tournament, being organised by J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) under the patronage of CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA, Chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO JKCA and under the overall supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA and Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, put into bat, ASR Kings collapsed at a meagre total of 75 runs runs in 19 overs. Uddit Khullar (21) and Bopinder (11) were the main scorers. From Bhatia CA, Pankaj was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 important wickets, while Gourav claimed 3 wickets.
In reply, Bhatia Cricket Academy chased the target easily in 7 overs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Ankush top scored with 36 runs, while from ASR Kings, Hanjla claimed the lone wicket to fall. Pankaj of Bhatia Cricket Academy was adjudged as the man of the match for his magnificent bowling display.
