JAMMU, July 24: Wrestling Association of J&K elected its new office bearers for the term of next four years in its annual general body meeting wherein Basu Dev from Wrestling Club Baspur RS Pura and Ajay Vaid were elected as president and vice president respectively of the Association, here today.
The general body meeting was held at Amar Singh Club Jammu wherein Jagdish Kumar from Wrestling Federation of India, Ashok Singh (J&K Sports Council) and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal (JKOA) were the observers.
Kuldeep Sharma from District Association Reasi, Jai Bharat, Swaran Lal from Dewan Mandir Akhara and Om Parksh were elected as vice president, honorary general secretary, joint secretary and honorary treasurer of the Association. All the members were elected unanimously by the house.
Former president Wrestling Association of J&K Dushyant Sharma congratulated all the newly elected office bearers and wished them good luck for the new assignment.
