Baloria XI thrashes MBCC, to take on SCC in final

JAMMU, June 29: Baloria XI thrashed Market Bulls Cricket Club (MBCC) by 40 runs and will now take on Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) in the final of the ongoing 1st Summer T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Lieutenant Thakur Dass Cricket Club Akhnoor, to be played at GGM Science College hostel ground, here on Sunday.
Batting first, Baloria XI made 175 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Manish Dogra proved his mettle and scored 73 runs, while Paras Sharma and Arsh made 46 and 22 runs respectively.
From MBCC side, Sahil, Aman and Narinder clinched one wicket each.
In reply, MBCC bundled out at 135 runs for all out in 20 overs. Rahul was the top scorer with 42 runs, while Aditya Partap made 31 runs.
From Baloria XI side, Rohit and Raman Dutta scalped 2 wickets each, while Vishwajeet, Sahil, Manish Dogra and Paras took one wicket apiece.
Manish Dogra of Baloria XI was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Madan Lal and Sanju as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda maintained the scoreboard.
