JAMMU, Nov 1: All-round performance by Rahul Sagotra helped Bahu Fort XI to register a narrow win over Eleven Stars XI in the ongoing 5th Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Cup, being jointly organized by Simula Sports and Vishal Cricket Club at Parade Cricket ground, here.
Batting first, Bahu Fort XI scored a decent total of 140 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Rahul Sagotra top scored with 23 runs, while Rahul Sharma contributed valuable 22 runs to the total. For Eleven Stars, Sunil Sambyal and Sunny scalped 2 wickets each while Irshad and Sandeep claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Eleven Stars managed to score 134 runs for the loss of 7 wickets, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 6 runs. Vishal scored 40 runs, while Robert contributed 34 runs to the total. Sunny also chipped in with 18 runs. For Bahu Fort XI, Rahul Sagotra bagged 3 important wickets, while Rohit and Aman took 2 wickets each. Rahul Sagotra was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round display.
The match was officiated by Sanjay and Vinod as umpires, while Sandeep was the scorer.
