JAMMU, Apr 29: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Office Jammu has changed the venue and date of the District Level Inter-School Badminton Tournament through a circular issued today.
According to an official handout, the Under-14 and Under-17 Boys and Girls Badminton Tournament, which was scheduled to be held from May 1, 2013 to May 4, 2013 at Indoor Hall Police Line, Jammu will now be held at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, Jammu from May 1 to May 7 with a break of three days on May 3, 4 and 5.
“The Department had planned to hold the tournament in Police Line Indoor Hall, however, the non-availability of the hall has forced us to shift the venue to MA Stadium and accordingly change the date of the tournament also,” informed the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
He said that the boys event will be held on May 1 and May 2, while the competition in girls section will be organized on May 6 and 7.
