SRINAGAR, July 20 Badal Club defeated Friends Hockey Club by 5-4 goals, while Pulwama Club defeated Mahindra Club by 3-2 goals on the second day of ‘Open Kashmir Hockey Championship at Gindun Stadium, here.
In the semifinal, Badal Club won by 2-0 from District Pulwama and sealed berth in the finals.
Now, in the summit clash, Badal Club will take on Baramulla in the title clash.
Joint Secretary of Hockey J&K, Raja Ghulam Nabi Wani was the chief guest in this Championship.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Dr Amit, Sheikh Tulal, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Hardeep Singh and Rafiq Ahmad Baba.
