Bachyal Cricket Club clinches trophy

JAMMU, May 28: Bachyal Cricket Club defeated Hirachak Cricket Club and clinched the cricket tournament at Hirachak village under Marh Assembly Constituency, here today
After winning the toss and batting first in a match of 12-12 overs, the team of Hirachak Cricket Club scored 85 runs. In response, the players of the Bachyal Cricket Club team, who came to chase the target, won the match by 3 wickets and in this way the team of Bachyal Cricket Club won the final match.
Chief guest of the event was SP Rural Brijesh Sharma, Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal and SHO Kanachak Sham Lal Kaith were the special guests.
SP Rural Brijesh Sharma said that the youth should develop a passion for sports and become a part of any sport, because nowadays the young generation in the UT is getting addicted to drugs.
He said in such a situation, the youth should also stay away from addiction and take care of their health and move towards sports.
Zorawar Singh said that sports should be played in the spirit of sports which creates mutual brotherhood. One team loses and other team wins. So there is no need to be disappointed. The players of the losing team should learn a lesson from the mistake they have committed and should correct that mistake and show their skills in the future.
The winning team was given Rs 7000 and a trophy and the runner-up team was given Rs 5000 and a trophy as a prize. Man of the Match was given to Shabnam and Man of the Series to Lada. This tournament was organized by Hirachak’s member Shubham Sharma and others. Deepak Gupta, Shamsher Kumar Prajapati, Vishu Rajput, Raj Manhas etc. were present on this occasion.
