Baba Sidh Goria Club wins Volleyball title trophy

SAMBA, Oct 30: Baba Sidh Goria Club Swankha trounced Ramgarh Club and won title trophy of Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball tournament in the ongoing Sports Festival organised by District Police, here today.
The Volleyball tournament matches were played at Government Higher Secondary School Vijaypur wherein SSP Samba, Rajesh Sharma was the chief guest while BDC Chairman Ramgarh, Darshan Singh was the guest of honour.
While speaking on the occasion, the SSP said that the aim of organising such sports events were to provide a platform to local youth to explore their hidden talent.
Later, prize distribution function was held in which trophies, medals, certificates and uniform kits were awarded to winner and runner-up teams by the chief guest. Certificates were also awarded to referees and other field staff.
