JAMMU, Oct 7: Ashutosh Mahanjan (Under 12) and Amir Sohail (Under 14) have been selected for the Skoda Single Wicket Cricket Tournament finals to be held in Mumbai..
Around 279 cricketers took part in the trials conducted by Skoda Auto at Sehwag Cricket Academy, Jammu.
The cricketers exhibited talent before a team of eight selectors All former Ranji Players n certified coaches..
While Ashutosh Mahajan, Avirudh Das, Ruhaan Raj Kalra and Trivijay Singh made it to the last four (Semi Finals) in the Under 12 category after playing the quarter finals over Jai Aditya , Arsh Sharma, Arush Sharma,and Ritwik Gupta .
Amir Sohail, Ruvan Gupta, Mannat, Chaitanya Mahajan, Armaan, Adharv Salathia, Vikrant Mahajan, Krishan Singh Pathania made it to the last eight in the Under 14 category.
Amir Sohail clinched the title after a good match with Adharv Salathia.
The selected finalists would represent the City in Mumbai finals. The trials are being held in fifty cities of the country.
