JAMMU, June 24: Ashish Gupta from Jammu has been selected as the first finalist of Rubaru Mr. India 2023. He holds a degree in commerce and accounting. He is an entrepreneur and has been managing his family business since a very young age.
Ashish is a model, teacher, humanitarian and social activist and associated with an NGO (named Ved Mandir Bal Niketan) in Jammu that supports the underprivileged children and the less fortunate. He teaches Mathematics and Computer Science to the children in the orphanage along with supporting other members of the NGO. He described this NGO as his family as he also received support from it during his childhood days and this motivated him to join the organization and support it in its humanitarian and social initiatives, Ashish is a fitness enthusiast and loves dancing.
He is a trained dancer and has expertise in hip hop and contemporary dance forms. In addition to that, he is also a musician and can play the piano and guitar Ashish is a polyglot and can speak 4 languages including Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi and English. His areas of interests include listening to music, working on computers and gathering more knowledge regarding technology, photography, spending time with the children and teaching them new skills and working out in the gym.
