JAMMU, June 29: Aryaveer Singh of BSF Senior Secondary School, Jammu bagged gold as Jammu District clinched 9 medals, with 4 gold and 5 silver in the Inter-District Boxing Competition, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Srinagar.
In Under-14 boys, the medal winners included Manil Wadhera (gold) and Harsh Dev Singh (Silver), while in Under-17 boys, the gold medals were bagged by Aryaveer Singh, Anil Kumar and Sharaj Khan. The silver medals in this category went to Mohd Arif, Aman Sharma, Sourab Gorkha and Mohit Singh.
The prizes were distributed among the medal winners by Deputy Director, Youth Services and Sports, Haji Mirza Hussain.
