JAMMU, Feb 9: Ace Chess player, Arushi Kotwal won silver medal in the 7th National Schools Chess Championship held in Bhubneshwar recently.
She won the silver medal in girls Under-17 age category.
All J&K Chess Association President, Atul Kumar Gupta alongwith other office bearers honoured Arushi for this outstanding achievement.
He said that J&K players are continuously performing at the National and International events which is the outcome of continuous platform provided to them at the State level by AJKCA, besides sheer-dint of hard work by the players.
He hoped for better performance of the players in the future.
