POONCH, Dec 30: The tough Army XI proved to be better in fitness when they made it a three wickets win against Media XI in a friendly cricket match played here today.
The event was organised with an aim of strengthening the bond between the Indian Army and the media.
Earlier, Media XI won the toss and batting first scored 107 runs in 15 overs, C Singh remained top scorer. In reply, Army XI chased the target by losing seven wickets. T Mohan was named as man of the match.
Media XI: Randeer Singh, JB Singh, Salil Raina, Ishrat Bhatt, Rajesh Khajuria, Chandandeep Singh, Aman, Sanjeev, Shazad Bhatt, Sunny Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Jhangir Khan and Pardeep Sharma.
