RAMBAN, Dec 30: National Development Foundation and RR Batallion at Gool under the aegis of Reasi based Force organized one day Interface Workshop and Exposure Visit, here today.
One day Interface workshop was organized at Higher Secondary School Gool to develop linkages among the communities and Govt. duty bearers to access social protection schemes. About 200 community members including women from 20 far flung villages of block Gool participated in the workshop. Different resource persons including Dr. Mir Zamrooda, Gulzar Ahmed Shan Zonal Education Planning officer Gool, Parvinder Singh Programme Manager NDF and Imtiaz Hussain interacted with the participants and discussed in detail about various schemes of different departments.
The exposure visit was organized for about 200 children from 20 villages of block Gool. A tug of war competition was also organized for the male and female students of twenty far flung and remote villages of Gool bowl. All students participated with great amount to zeal and enthusiasm. The event was followed by distribution of gender based sports material to the 20 children groups. Various opinion makers including Tehsildar Gool Mohd Niyaz Wani, Capt. Aditya Dwivedi from 58 RR, Zonal Education Officer Gool Om Parkash Thakur, SHO Gool Rauf Khan, Parvinder Singh, Programme Manager NDF, Sunil Raina provided guidance on various entry schemes in different Govt. sectors.
