UDHAMPUR, Apr 6: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarter, Reasi organized a `Run for Fun’ at Bagga, with the theme of ` A March towards Peace and Development’.
A total of 148 youth of different age groups participated in the competition which was organized with an aim to actively promote sports amongst the youth of the region apart from providing them a platform to channelise and harness their energy in a constructive manner.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P K Sarma, Principal, Government Degree College, Bagga, said that the youth of the region have the ability to take the nation to greater heights which will bring economic development to the state and prosperity to the people.
The event was witnessed by large number of people including veterans, teachers and students from the schools and college, officials from the civil administration and Army.
