Army organizes Brotherhood Champions Trophy

KISHTWAR, May 7: The Indian Army organized Brotherhood Champions Trophy Cricket Tournament at historic Chowgan ground, here today.
The aim of organizing the event was to promote local sporting talent and extend an opportunity to local youth to display their cricketing skills.
The 30 days long event, involved a total of 42 teams from Kishtwar and adjoining areas.
The matches were conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis and the final match was played between Warriors Team and Sarkut Team in which Warriors Team won by a big margin of 105 runs.
The prizes included the Championship trophy and cash prizes for the winning team, as well as individual prizes for players who excelled in the tournament.
The tournament was welcomed by the youth, who participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
