RAMBAN, Oct 12: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Delta Force distributed sports equipment to schools of Neel and Zaradi villages of Tehsil Banihal under Sadbhavana initiative.
The aim of the distribution of sports items to the school was to improve their basic infrastructure and provide an impetus to the sports facilities to the students hailing from far flung and remote areas of the district.
The sports equipment were handed over to the Principal, Government (Boys) Higher Secondary School, Neel in a colorful ceremony, which was attended by village Sarpanch, elders and parents of students.
The children were ecstatic and appeared excited and motivated to receive sports items.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal and teachers said that with the availability of sports equipment, the students will have a better environment for developing their sports talent.
