Army develops playground for border youth near LoC

MENDHAR, Feb 20: The 49th Rashtriya Rifle Battalion of the Indian Army’s Romeo Force has taken the step of building a playground for the youth living on the border and has started construction of it, while the villagers are highly appreciating this move of the Army.
People of border area told that their youth have been affected by the shelling of Pakistan since childhood, so were lagging behind in sports.
“Today the Indian Army has proved to be helpful for us, from this ground our youth will keep themselves healthy and stay connected with the Army. And for those who want to join the Indian Army, this ground will be the most profitable,” the villagers said.
The local residents highly praised Army for this big initiative of developing playground in the area.
