JAMMU, Dec 27: Army Public School (APS) Ratnuchak organized its annual literary-cultural event, “Encore-An Enriching Rendezvous,” showcasing students’ academic achievements and cultural talent in a vibrant programme.
The event began with a warm welcome to the chief guest, Chairman APS Ratnuchak and the guest of honour, Juhi Mankotia. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp marked the formal inauguration. A soulful choir presentation set a serene tone for the programme.
Principal Sonal Sharma presented the annual school report, highlighting the school’s academic progress, innovative initiatives and focus on holistic development.
The cultural segment featured a variety of performances, including classical and contemporary dances, theatrical presentations on leadership and values, a nostalgic alumni performance, and a Punjabi folk item that added humour and warmth to the occasion. Musical performances and colourful dance sequences further entertained the audience.
Meritorious students of Class X, including those scoring above 90 per cent, were felicitated with appreciation certificates by the guest of honour and alumni members. The highlight of the event was the presentation of academic excellence awards to outstanding Class XII students by the chief guest.
The programme concluded on a high note, celebrating talent, dedication and the spirit of togetherness at APS Ratnuchak.
