JAMMU, Dec 30: Army Public School (APS) Ratnuchak celebrated annual day with great enthusiasm and zest at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today. The occasion was graced by chairman of the School, Brig Vikram Kumar as the chief guest. The other invitees included members of the School Management and parents.
The function commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and the other dignitaries.
The Annual Report was presented by the Principal, Sonal Sharma.
The students presented a beautiful “Cultural Bonanza” attired in colourful costumes which enthralled the audience.
The cultural programme began with the chanting of verses in praise of Lord ‘Surya’ seeking his divine blessings, followed by performance of “Cheering Cheeks and Tunes of Algoza”.
The audiences were spell bound by the captivating performance of “Unison of Conscience” which showcased the Gatka performance followed by a martial art drill. The audience were enlivened by the Instrumental Symphony, Salsa Aliqua, Shiva “The Equipoised” and Garbha Dance.
The meritorious students were awarded with cash prizes as well as commendation certificates on the occasion.
The cultural bonanza concluded with a vote of thanks.
