APS Noida wins Inter APS WC U-17 Girls Football title

JAMMU, May 16: The Inter Army Public Schools (Western Command) U-17 Girls Football Tournament concluded after three days of thrilling football action and spirited competition. The tournament, held from May 14 to 16, witnessed participation from five prominent Army Public Schools of Western Command including APS Kandrori, APS Ambala, APS Noida, APS Jammu Cantt and APS Tibri.
Organized on a league basis, the tournament showcased remarkable teamwork, discipline and outstanding football skills by the participating teams. Young players displayed determination, unity and competitive spirit throughout the matches, making the event highly engaging for spectators.
Brig Shalabh Pun, Chairman of the school, interacted with the teams and encouraged the participants with motivating words. The grand finale between APS Kandrori and APS Noida turned out to be a thrilling contest filled with exciting moments and impressive performances.
After a closely fought encounter, APS Noida emerged victorious with a score of 1(4)-1(2) and lifted the Champion’s Trophy. APS Kandrori secured the second position after a commendable performance throughout the tournament, while APS Ambala finished third.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where winners and participants were felicitated with trophies, medals and certificates. The Principal of APS Samba congratulated all participating teams for displaying excellent sportsmanship and teamwork.
The tournament was conducted under the guidance of the school administration and the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, officials and support staff. The Chairman appreciated the players for their spirited performances and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports.
