JAMMU, Feb 16: Thirty-one students from Army Public School Damana, accompanied by educators Sourab Gupta (HoD Science) and Geeta Gupta (TGT Science), participated in the open day visitor programme ‘PRAGYAAN 2025’ hosted by IIT Jammu. The event showcased a dynamic exhibition celebrating innovation and creativity.
The students were mesmerized by the cosmic view in the planetarium, highlighting the significance of the Black Hole. They were equally delighted by the open exhibition featuring scientific models, including drones and robotics. The students also explored a project on modern transportation systems, showcasing advancements in mobility solutions, smart technologies, eco-friendly vehicles, and sustainable infrastructure.
PRAGYAAN 2025 aimed to inspire students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). It featured live demonstrations of AI, robotics, AR/VR and UAVs. The event also included an art zone with painting, elocution and creative showcases. The STEM career guidance offered valuable insights into future career paths.
