JAMMU, Dec 16: Army Public School Akhnoor hosted its Annual Sports Day here today. The festivities commence with an exhilarating Torch Relay and March Past. Geeta Devi, Principal of Army Public School Akhnoor, presented the school’s annual report.
The track events 100m, 200m races, cycling race, 4x100m relay race, shot put and long jump were held on the occasion. Emphasising inclusivity and community engagement, children from the adopted school, as part of the Vidyanjali scheme, enthusiastically participated in the Pyramid Cup Race and Hurdle Race, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship.
Distinguished personality, Patron APS Akhnoor was the chief guest for the day. The Chairman APS Akhnoor and renowned dignitaries such as Meena Shrivastava (FWO Ten Infantry Division), Suman Bala (ZEO, Akhnoor) and Shardha Bhau (DDC) also graced the occasion.
