JAMMU, Sept 22: Apple Kids International Pre-Sschool, Bantalab held a poem recitation and show and tell competition of pre-KG, Junior KG and Senior KG students in the School premises, here today.
About 200 students participated in these competitions.
Students were shown different alphabets, numbers, shapes and colours and various fruits, vegetables, birds and animals and they had to tell whatever they saw.
The competition was mainly held to check recognition power of students and to improve their recognition of things.
Meanwhile, a poem recitation competition of Junior KG and Senior KG students was held in which students recited rhymes with actions.
Later, Puja Sharma, Principal of the School distributed prizes among the winners of both the competitions.
The positioners in show and tell competition included Drishti Sharma, Sanvi Sharma and Aryamann Thakur in Sponge Learners section, while in Super Fly Kids, Tamana Thakur, Daivik Sharma and Namish Sharma were the winners of first three places.
Sannidhya, Arshiya and Avika won first three places, while Raksha, Janvi and Arunima bagged first three places in junior and senior KG categories respectively.
