AoL organizes ‘Chetna Shivirs’ in Govt schools

JAMMU, Oct 13: Art of Living (AoL), Jammu Chapter organized four ‘Nav Chetna Shivirs’ at different Government schools in Jammu and Kathua in last 5 days.
More than 500 students including boys and girls along with 30 teaching staff of the schools participated with full enthusiasm in these shivirs.
The course was conducted at Jammu by AoL teacher, Neelam and Kathua by Bhagwati and Meenakshi Sharma. The students actively participated in games, art competition, knowledge sessions, etc during these Shivirs. Besides these, Pranayama and Meditation sessions were also held.
The schools where these shivirs were organized include Government High School Nagrota and Government Girls Middle School Nagrota in Jammu and Government Primary School, Patel Nagar and Government High School, Jarai in Kathua.
While sharing their experiences regarding the course, the senior students and staff narrated that students always remained under stress due to examinations fear and homework pressure at homes but by doing these Chetna shivirs they have been benefited a lot to come out of stressful mind and handle day to day stresses nicely.
Camp instructors of Kathua shivir, Meenakshi and Dr Nitin Sharma said that the AoL’s Chetna shivir is a dynamic program that helps them get them back to their childhood while equipping them with the right tools to handle their responsibilities and stress in life. “Pranayama and Meditation course helped them get rid of their negative emotions”, they added.
