UDHAMPUR, Mar 30: Celebrating 32 years of its establishment, AOC Hr Secondary School Udhampur celebrated their Annual Day cum Prize Distribution function in the school premises wherein students with academic excellence along with students with co-curricular achievements were awarded by the special guest RJ Shwetima of Radio Mirchi and Principal of the school, Kiran Bala.
In her welcome address, the Principal of the school presented welcome address.
The programme started with students of Nursery to 11th class performing various cultural items including song, dance and skit etc based on themes ‘Cultural diversity of India’ and ‘Patriotism’ which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Later, For their all round performance across the year, Hridyansh of Class 9th and Eknoor of Class 11th got All-rounder student of the year award. Anurag Jamwal of class 11th and Bhawana Sharma of class 10th were appreciated for their achievements in the field of sports.
Kapil (10th) and Iffat (8th) got best debater awards whereas Ambika (11th) and Tarush (10th) got best in cultural awards.
For being disciplined and for inculcating discipline in other students, juniors or seniors, Koushal Sharma (11th) and Sania Javed (9th) were awarded with best disciplined students award.
The chief coordinator Mrs Pamella Sharma distributed prizes to the students with academic excellence.
Sharing her journey with the students, the special guest RJ Shwetima said that feels honoured to be part of any such initiative as the school is the best part of everyone’s life.
