JAMMU, Dec 25: Annual Sports Day of DRS Trikuta Nagar and Vasant Vihar was organized in International Daily Rising School.
During the fun filled day, the play group children along with their parents participated in various races, drills and exercises. The students entertained the audience with the spectacular drill where they performed various exercises. Children participated in large numbers in engaging and innovative races like Banana race, Butterfly race, sack race, hop race etc. which got the crowd cheering. Kids also participated in games like Balance the ball and Pack and Run. The students also paid homage to the martyrs of the Indian Army through their patriotic performance.
Earlier, the Annual Sports Day was inaugurated by chief guest former MLC Charanjeet Singh Khalsa in presence of guest of honour Saujanaya Sharma Former Director JMC and Suchwant Singh Ex Director Agriculture. Special guests were Raghav Gupta, Managing Director of IDRS and Dr Atul Hans, Director Academics of IDRS. Principal-cum-Owner of DRS Supinder Kaur was also present on the occasion.
The winners were awarded with the certificate and medals.
