KATHUA, Dec 3: Annual Sports Day concluded at Spring Dales, Chandgran amidst a lot of fun and frolic, here today.
In the closing ceremony of the three days Annual Sports Day ‘Win and Joy Tournament’, the guests of honour were Kewal Krishan, District Education and Planning Officer Kathua, Rajeev Vaid and Sanjeev from the Police department,
During the event various activities including Cricket (Captain Batra Trophy), Badminton, Kho Kho (Blossoms Cup), Spoon and Lemon Race, Boom Boom Balloon, Fast Walk, Pyramid Formation, River and Bank were organised, wherein the students displayed their sportsmanship.
In Badminton-Challengers, Himani and Aradhya of Maurya House stood winner, while in Kho-Kho-Tigers, Ishanvi, Captain of Maurya House stood winner, in Volleyball-Challengers, Bhuminder, Captain of Maurya House emerged winner, in Cricket Jr-Tigers, Captain Prabhroop bagged title trophy and Cricket Sr-Tiger, Captain Nitish stood victorious.
In the end, the winners were awarded medals and certificates. Principal, Usha Gupta congratulated the students and the staff for organizing a wonderful sports event.
