UDHAMPUR, Dec 29: Government Middle School Lower Gandala celebrated its Annual Day.
On the occasion, Balwan Singh, Chairman BDC Udhampur was the chief guest while Ram Kumar Gupta, Deputy CEO Udhampur was the guest of honour.
Madhu Balla, Headmaster of the institution presented the welcome address.
Students performed spectacular cultural programme depicting rich Dogra culture and enthralled the spectators. The tiny tots of the different primary schools of the complex also displayed their talent in dancing and singing which left the audience spell bound. The star attraction of the programme was the Mime Show depicting harmful effects of the polythene bags, which was displayed by the students of GMS Lower Gandala. A folk dance called Heran Dance was also performed by the local people.
ZEPO Udhampur Prabha Kumari, Sarpanch Kuldeep Kumar, District President, All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers Forum, Ashok Sharma, Naib Sarpanch Sunil Gudda, Headmaster Government High School, Gandala,Baldev Raj Ex Headmaster M/S Lower Gandala, Kuldip Kumar were also present on the occasion.
Rakesh Kumar and Shallu Gupta, teachers, conducted the proceedings of the programme.
