Anand Swaroop wins Chess tournament title

JAMMU, Sept 19: Anand Swaroop won the two days open Blitz Chess Tournament title, organised by Jammu District Chess Association under “My youth My pride ” initiative of J&K Government under the patronage of J&K Sports Council, here today.
The 2nd place was secured by Viraj Singh Jamwal, while Anshyan Gupta stood 3rd in the championship, which was held under the supervision of Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh Jamwal and SP Singh, senior coach at MA Stadium, whereas the event was planned by Atul Kumar Gupta, president All J&K Chess Association.
Arvindu Sharma and Ashutosh Jamwal conducted all the matches of the championship.
J&K Sports Council is organising sports events in various disciplines at MA Stadium under the My Youth My Pride initiative of J&K Government.
