Amrit scores 65 as KC Sports Club scripts victory over YCC

JAMMU, Jan 19: Amrit Pal Singh scored magnificent 65 runs off 41 balls and helped KC Sports Club to thrash Yankees Cricket Club by 33 runs in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament, sponsored by KC Hyundai, Jammu, here today.
Batting first, KC Sports Club set a decent target of 172 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Amrit Pal Singh was the top scorer with 65 runs off 41 balls, while Karan Bhat contributed valuable 30 runs off just 14 balls. For Yankees Club, Romil took 2 wickets and Shanker claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, Yankees Cricket Club managed to score 139 runs to lose the match by 33 runs. Shanker scored brilliant 64 runs. Amrit Pal Singh was declared as man of the match for his superb bating display.
