REASI, Apr 20: Amigos Panipat defeated Reasi Challengers in the first semi-finals of the Reasi Chenab Premier League (RCPL) and sailed into finals of the ongoing tournament, played at Sports Stadium, here today.
Amigos won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored a huge total of 200 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Gourav Tomer scored 86 runs in 48 balls with the help of 11 boundaries and 4 sixes, while Ankush Nagar scored 22 runs off 14 balls, studded with 2 maximum and Somveer and Parshant contributed 26 and 12 (unbeaten) runs respectively. From the bowling side, Chander Paul Saini claimed 2 wickets, while Shiva, Sunil and Ashu took one wicket each.
In reply, Reasi Challengers made 150 runs by losing 9 wickets in 20 overs wherein Satyam made unbeaten 56 runs in 37 balls, studded 11 fours, while Salman also remained unbeaten at 18 runs facing 13 balls. From the bowling side, Abhinandan claimed 3 wickets, while Ankush Nagar clinched 2 wickets and Vikram Mehran, Sahil Dhillon, Lakshay and Danny took one wicket each.
