AMCC Gurgaon registers thrilling win over Vicky XI Pathankot

KATHUA, Jan 30: AMCC Gurgaon drubbed Vicky XI Pathankot by 1-run in a thrilling contest during the ongoing 5th Police Martyrs Memorial Inter-Club North Zone T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Shaheed Welfare Committee Kathua and J&K Police Department at Sports Stadium, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, AMCC scored 115 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sachin was the top scorer with 47 runs, while Sunil contributed 22 runs to the total. For Vicky Club, Ravi, Barak and Krishna claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Vicky XI managed to score 114 runs in the allotted 20 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process, thus lost the match by 1 runs. Rahul and Harpreet contributed 21 and 18 runs to the total respectively. For AMCC Gurgaon, Sonu was the wrecker-in-chief, who bagged 4 important wickets, which fetched him man of the match award.
