Amandeep Academy beats Vishal Club by 5 wkts

JAMMU, Jan15: Amandeep Cricket Academy defeated Vishal Cricket Club Jammu by five wickets in second match of the Friendship Cricket Series under-19, being played at Amandeep Cricket Academy Amritsar.
Batting first, Vishal Cricket Club scored 247 runs for the loss of all wickets in 43.5 overs. Kanhiya Wadhwan made 59 runs, whereas Janveer scored 34 runs and Shouraya and Rohal Gill contributed 32 and 29 runs respectively. From bowling side, Garv took four wickets, Jaideep Singh, Happy and Sandy bagged two wickets each for Amandeep Academy team.
In reply, Amandeep Cricket Academy chased the target in 43.2 overs by losing only five wickets, thus won the match with five wickets. Jaideep made highest 82 runs, Arsh scored 40 runs, Happy and Sandy contributed 35 and 22. From Vishal Club, Abay Tondon and Kartik took two wickets each while Sachin Sharma took one wicket.
Jaideep Singh was declared as man of the match for his brilliant all round performance, whereas the match was officiated by Rahul, Karan and Raj.
The tour for the Jammu boys is being arranged by the senior cricketers of J&K and members of the Indian Cricket Association in association with Vishal Cricket Club Jammu under the supervision of Rajesh Gill former Ranji player with the objective to provide platform to the J&K cricketers, so that they can exhibit their cricket talents and to improve their match temperament while playing with other State players.
