JAMMU, Sept 25: Aman took 6/22 in his 9 overs to help JKCA Reds register 5-wicket win over JKCA Blues in the ongoing Under-19 boys trial matches, being organized by the JKCA Provincial Committee at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here today.
Batting first, JKCA Blues scored 157 runs in 37 overs. Ameer, Mohit, Akash Choudhary and Subrat Sharma contributed 36, 28, 26 and 16 runs tot je total respectively. For JKCA Reds, Aman captured 6 important wickets by conceding 22 runs in his 9 overs, while Rajneesh claimed 2 and Prajwal bagged one.
In reply, JKCA Reds chased the target in 38.1 overs by losing 5 wickets, thus won the match 5 wickets. Nipun Verma (42), Tribhuvan Singh (26), Jatin Wadhawan (22) and Hrithik Gupta (20) were the main contributors. Abid Mushtaq bagged 2 wickets for JKCA Blues, while Mohit Tang and Ameer claimed one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Madan Singh and Sunny Choudhary as umpires, while Pankaj Dutt was the match referee.
