Aman leads Indian team to Asia-Pacific Basketball C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 2: Senior Coach of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Aman Sharma will lead the Indian Junior Men Basketball team to the Asia-Pacific Basketball Championship being held at Bangkok Thailand from August 5 to August 11, 2018.
Indian team under his tutelage won the South Asian Championship last month at Dhaka and qualified for the ABC from the SABA Zone. The team was attending a coaching camp under him at Bangalore since June 11, 2018. The Indian team will take on Korea, Chinese Taipei and Syria in the first round of the championship on  August 5, 6 and 7 respectively.
The team was flagged off in Bangalore today by P. Govindraj, President BFI, Chandermukhi Sharma, Secretary General BFI and Rajnish Goel, Additional Chief Secretary Karnataka.
The team: Aman Sharma (Head Coach), H. Laldinsanga (Assistant Coach), Ranjan Sharma (Physio), Prince Pal Singh (captain), Jagshaanbir Singh (both Punjab), Pratyanshu Tomar, Prashant Tomar (both Karnataka),Rajiv Kumar, Rajveer Singh Bhati (both Rajasthan), M. Arvind Kumar (TN), Sejin Mathew (Kerela), Tushal Singh (UP), Harshwardhan Tomar (MP), Abhiskek Sharma (Delhi) and Prashant Tomar (UK).
