JAMMU, May 23: The All India 2nd Kyokushin Bugakukan Karate Championship 2025 concluded successfully at the Indoor Stadium, Bhagwati Nagar, here today, showcasing the talent of 275 participants from across the country. The event was organized by Kyokushin Bugakukan India, affiliated with the International Karate Organization Kyokushin Bugakukan, Japan.
Earlier, the Championship was inaugurated by Aman Sharma (President), Mrinal Langer (Vice President), and Aagam Jain (Joint Secretary). During the closing ceremony, Surinder Kumar, MLA from Marh, was the chief guest who presented medals to the winners. Guests of honour included Bhupender Singh (DySP), Jatender Choudhary, Pankaj Mahajan and Sankalp Kamal.
The event was held under the expert supervision of Shihan Brijesh Bhau, India Chief Instructor, along with referees Gopal Dass, Honey Sharma, Anamika and Deepak Kumar, ensuring high technical standards throughout the competition.
Jammu & Kashmir emerged as the Overall Champion, with Punjab finishing as Runner-up. Among J&K teams, Fatima Convent High School was declared Best Performer, followed by Sanford School Birpur. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Deepak Kumar, who appreciated the efforts of all contributors in making the championship a resounding success.
