All divyang students of SKK passed 12th class with distinction

JAMMU, July 1: The J&K Samaj Kalyan Kendra’s run School for Deaf and Dumb, Jammu attained a landmark achievement when all the students got distinction in the Higher Secondary Examination. In the result which was declared yesterday by the Board of School Education, Pardeep Kumar topped the school by securing 83.4 percent. This was the best result the school ever had.
All the thirteen deaf and dumb students who appeared for Higher Secondary examination this year passed with rare brilliant performance overcoming their physical deficiencies. Two other students- Sneha Verma and Sabhia Shad, secured above 80.4 percent marks.
Last month only, all the eight deaf and dumb students too passed the Middle-Class Examination of the BOSE with distinction. Academic excellence has become the School’s brand.
The President of the SKK, K B Jandial and other members of the Society have applauded the exceptional academic achievement of the Divyang students and complimented them, their parents, teachers and the Principal of the School for such a brilliant result.
The President also offered to those passed out students who wish to pursue higher education, of financial help to the extent of 50 percent reimbursement of their semester fee. A fund has been created for the purpose. It has already helped three alumni who have done BCA and MCA, two of them have got government jobs.
