JAMMU, Oct 4: Three day long Inter District Divisional Level Athletic Meet for boys under all age groups commenced at MS Stadium, here today. A total of 209 boys drawn from eight districts of Jammu Division are taking part in the meet.
In under-19 category (100 meters), Ajay Lakha of District Jammu, Raman Deep Singh of District Kathua and Gurdeep Singh of District Samba bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively whereas in 500 meters, Ajay Kumar of Jammu District, Pardeep Singh of Udhampur District and Vijay Kumar of Reasi District clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively and in 800 meters, Parvez Ahmed of Jammu District, Hoshar Singh of Reasi District and Ajay Singh of Ramban District secured gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In under-17 category (100 meters), Keshiv Singh Chib of Jammu District, Mohammad Toyaib Malik of Udhampur District and Romey Mehra of Kathua District clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, whereas in 800 meters, Manjeet Singh of Kathua District, Mohammad Munir of Jammu District and Ravi Sharma of Samba District bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
In under-14 category (100 meters), Monit Chouhan of District Jammu, Shubam Singh of Samba District and Mohammad Altaf of District Reasi secured gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, whereas in 600 meters, Rahul Singh of Samba District, Saif Ali of Kathua District and Vishav Sharma of Udhampur District bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
