JAMMU, Aug 3: With an aim to prepare educated and semi-educated youths seeking recruitment in Indian Armed Forces, State Police and paramilitary forces besides private security agencies in India, AIPTA, a National Training and Skill Development Organization with its Head Office at North Block, Bahu Plaza (Jammu), has set up its pace by opening its 4th training academy at district Kathua, in a simple but impressive function.
The Academy has been setup by M/s Jagdamba Institute of Technical Education by Priyanka Rajput.
Sunil Kumar, Deputy Director, Rural Department, Kathua, was the chief guest while the management of AIPTA comprising president, AIPTA, Vijay Luthra, Managing Director, Rohit Grover and CEO, Manmeet Singh along with their Board of Directors, Col (Retd) PC Vashishth and Romesh Chander, Director (P) Vigilance J&K (Retd) and the training Director, SS Gill, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kumar lauded the efforts made of AIPTA for preparing youths for defense services. He said that the imparting of training to local unemployed youths is going a long way to let them heave a sigh of relief and expressed that pre recruitment training is sure to boost the aspirants to do best in getting them recruited in Armed Forces.
While speaking, Manmeet Singh briefly mentioned about the activities being undertaken by its training centers and AIPTA’s prospective expansions.
The screening of candidates for training programme was also organized on the occasion. A total of 50 students along with their parents attended the screening, out of which 37 candidates were selected for training.
The youths selected for pre-recruitment training shall be imparted both academic and physical training through specialized trained staff guided by highly qualified and experienced persons in the field.
Besides, the trainees during the training will be taught moral values of life like discipline, dedication and uprightness to become loyal and humble citizen of India.
