KATHUA, Oct 28: All India Jat Mahasabha (AIJMS) president and former Mayor Ch Manmohan Singh and SSP Benam Tosh inaugurated Dangal at Jat Stadium Dayala Chak as chief guest and special invitee, here today.
Ch Manmohan said that it is advisable for the youths to get addicted to sports and games rather than falling prey to substance abuse and drug addiction.
Earlier, the AIJMS president was accorded rousing reception for the significant role he played for ensuring reservation for the Jat community people. “After getting the reservation for the community the next goal of Jats should be to educate children and ensure that they don’t fall prey to drugs and substance abuse,” he said and appreciated the community in construction of the Stadium by the individual contributions.
The Dangal was organised by Master Subash Choudhary, Dangal Committee Chairman, while Capt Chandu Singh, Sub. Rasaal Singh, Sub. Vijay Singh and many others were also present during the event.
