JAMMU, Feb 5: Advita, representing Jammu & Kashmir, won the silver medal in the junior category at the National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship held in Pune. The championship concluded today with participation from nine talented gymnasts from the UT. The event was organized by the Maharashtra State Gymnastics Association under the aegis of the Gymnastics Federation of India.
Er Kiran Watal, President of the Gymnastics Association of J&K and Vice President of the Federation, congratulated Advita for her stellar performance, highlighting her dedication and skill. He expressed gratitude to Nuzhat Gul (Secretary, J&K Sports Council), Satish Sharma (Sports Minister), Omer Abdullah (Chief Minister) and LG Manoj Sinha for their continuous support and provision of infrastructure for gymnastics in Jammu & Kashmir.
The J&K contingent was accompanied by coach Mittali and manager Ravinder Singh, who guided and motivated the athletes throughout the championship, contributing to their successful performance.
