ADGP inaugurates Gymnasium at PCR

JAMMU, Sept 27: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh here today inaugurated Fitness Corner-a gymnasium and dedicated it to the officials of PCR Jammu.
He also felicitated six officers and officials of PCR Jammu who were awarded DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificates for their meritorious and exemplary services.
The ADGP was accompanied by SSP PCR Jammu, Dr. Haseeb Mugal; SP PCR Jammu, Shazad Ahmad Salaria; Additional SP PCR Jammu, Hafizullah and other officials of PCR.
A handout stated that in order to keep the 330 policemen working at PCR Jammu healthy and to encourage good practices, the Fitness Corner was established at PCR under the Civic Action Programme.
The ADGP advised cops to take full advantage of the machines installed at Fitness Corner to remain healthy and fit.
He said, daily exercise is important for good health and it increases the immunity to fight diseases.
SSP PCR Jammu thanked the ADGP for support and guidance.
Later, ADGP Mukesh Singh felicitated six officers and officials of PCR who were awarded DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificates for their meritorious and exemplary services.
They were-Raj Kumar, DySP; SI Babu Singh, ASI David Masih, ASI (M) Raj Kumar, SGCT Pawan Kumar and SGCT Satinder Singh.
