Ace tennis player Prinkle keeps State Flag high

JAMMU, Mar 17: Ace tennis player, Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir brings laurels to the State by sealing berth in the Indian Junior Lawn Tennis team, representing India at Bangkok, Thailand
Selected last week by AITA in squad of India team to play in two ITF-14 and U division-1 Asian Development Championship, which is going on from March 16 to March 27, 2015.
Prinkle is ranked no-2 in India in all India Tennis Ranking and top three ranked players have been selected in India team. The other two players included Mahak Jain, India no- 1 of Maharashtra and Shivani Ameneni, India no-3 of Hyderabad.
Prinkle has left for Thailand on March 14, 2015 along with other teammates and coach Ankita Bhambri, women No.1 player of India.
In main draw, Prinkle Singh was given 7th seed, her first match was bye, in second round she defeated Carlyn Bless Guarde of Philippian by (6-0, 6-0) to storm into third round. The participating Countries in division-1 championship included India, Thailand, South Korea, Kazakistan, China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Kyrgyz, Chinese, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong and Nepal, etc.
