DODA, May 19: Ayan Cricket Club (ACC) Doda registered a convincing win over Combine India Cricket Club by 5 wickets in the ongoing All India 11th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship 2015 played at Sports Stadium, here.
The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Bn Doda, J&K Bank and Natnoo Furnishing House Doda.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Combine India scored a modest total of 108 runs in 18.3 overs. Rahul was the top scorer from Combine India who contributed 33 runs, while Vimal chipped in with 20 runs. From ACC Doda, Abdul Bari clinched 4 wickets, while Bilal Natnoo took 3 wickets.
In reply, ACC Doda chased the target in 12.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Fazal Dev was the highest scorer who scored 37 runs while Abdu Bari and Irfan Lone contributed 19 runs for their team. while from Combine India, Babar Khan and Rahul took 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
Later on, Abdul Bari of ACC Doda was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Munish Jotshi, Ayush Sharma as Umpires where Salinder Singh Bhaduria acted as scorer.
