World Cup Qualifying event in China

JAMMU, Apr 19: A gold medalist at the National Games, Abhishek Jamwal is the only player from Jammu and Kashmir to be included in the Indian squad for the World Cup qualifying event that will take place in Jiangsu, China, from April 21 to 26, 2024.
Wushu Association of India conducted selection trial for the finalisation of the India Wushu team for the sent event at Haridwar in which, Abhishek defeated all his counter mates and impressed the selection committee for his selection in the Indian Squad for the World Cup Qualifying event to be held in China.
Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya Awardee) appreciated Abhishek and Indian Squad for the event and wished all the very best to him and the Indian Wushu team for the World Cup Qualifying event.
He also appreciated J&K Sports Council for providing all facilities at both provinces of International standard with the result J&K Wushu team at all levels is excelling at both national and international levels.
The Wushu Association of J&K office bearers along with Vijay Saraf (President) and Bhavneet (General Secretary appreciated Abhishek Jamwal for selection in the World Cup qualifying event.
Meanwhile, The Wushu Association of India will conduct selection trials in the month of May for the BRICS Games scheduled to be held in Kazan (Russia) and 10th Asian Wushu Championship to be held at Macau in the month of September 2024, but Abhishek Jamwal will get direct entry for the event.
